Customer Cancellations
Cancellations made 10 days or more before the tour date (Japan Standard Time) are eligible for a refund, minus a 10% administrative fee to cover planning and reserved booking time.
Cancellations made within 10 days of the tour date are non-refundable.
Any third-party costs or payment processing fees incurred during the refund process (e.g. credit card, PayPal, or banking fees) will also be deducted from the refund amount.
Tour Cancellations by Amami Tours
Tours may be cancelled by Amami Tours for safety reasons, severe weather, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be provided, and customers will be notified as soon as possible.
Transport Disruptions
A refund will be provided to guests unable to participate due to official flight or ferry cancellations issued by the operator, minus any third-party or payment processing costs incurred.

Yes! Children under the age of 16 get 50% off when booking with two full-paying adults. Persons unders 17 years of age that are not accompanied by an adult (18 years and over) will require their guardians written conscent to participate on any tour.
Please confirm discounts with us to have them reflected on your booking. Proof of age and identity will be required before payment is made and on the day of your tour. Contact us here to get an invoice or quote for discount.
Tours are generally conducted in untoward weather such as rain, cold or heat. However, if the weather is to an extent that it inhibits us from conducting a quality tour, including extended traffic delays, the tour may be cancelled at our discretion at any time. In such instances a full refund will be provided, and customers will be notified of tour cancellation as soon as possible.
Please be prepared for cold, hot and wet weather conditions and wear/bring appropriate seasonal clothing on the day of your tour. Clothing and equipment not provided.
Yes, both kayaking and SUP, as well as snorkeling, boat charters and other water activities are available. Simply let us know what you want to do.

Persons 17 years old and younger need to be accommodated by an adult 18 years and older.
Baby seats and strollers are not provided on tours. However, you are welcome to bring your own, which can be stored in our vehicle.
The guardian is responsible for any children brought on a tour. Amami Tours is very flexible in terms of adjusting the itinerary to accommodate customers with children, however, some attractions may be forfeited if departure times are delayed while accommodating the needs of young children.
