Possible sightings may include: Amami jay, Amami thrush, Ryukyu robin, Ryukyu green pigeon, Ruddy kingfisher, Owston’s woodpecker, and other endemic and migratory species – sightings always depend on season, weather, and luck. Amami woodcock and Ryukyu scops owl are mostly active at night.
