OUTLINE
The perfect tour to choose if the weather is untoward or you wish to discover another side of the island. Visit a museum to learn about Amami and its culture, a beautiful gallery displaying art from one of the island's most eminent artists, and a pit viper show to meet the mamori gami (protector of the island). We then head onto lunch at an exquisite restaurant to enjoy some local cuisine. This is followed by a stopover at one of the best distilleries on the island and topped off with a shima uta performance to wrap up the day. Shima uta is the awe-inspiring music of the Amami Islands performed with the sanshin (three-stringed instrument).

Children under the age of 16 get 50% off when booking with two adults or more. Under Japanese law, persons under the age of 2o cannot participate in any alcohol tasting. At least one adult over the age of 20 must accompany persons under the age of 16. ID required for confirmation.
DON'T FORGET
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and prepare for cold, wet, or hot weather conditions. Have appropriate seasonal clothing and accessories on hand. Don't forget your camera, wallet, and ID for proof of age (over 20 years of age if tasting alcohol).
